Mondra Rose Fazely, M.A., CCC-SLP, received a bachelor of arts (B.A.)
from The Ohio State University and a master of arts (M.A.) from Kent State
University. Mondra has been a practicing speech pathologist since 1980.
She is certified as a Speech-Language Pathologist by the American
Speech-Language-Hearing Association and is licensed by the Louisiana
Board of Examiners for Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology, the
Ohio Board of Speech Pathology & Audiology, and the New Mexico
Regulation and Licensing Department-Speech Pathology and Audiology
Hearing Aid Dispensing Board. Mondra has worked in rehabilitation, home
health, public schools and private settings and currently provides services
at the center as well as in various schools in the area. Mondra's interests
include reading-language disorders, articulation and language disorders,
and the development of phonemic awareness in children. She has recently
begun work towards certification in the Barton Reading and Spelling
System. Mondra is a member of the Louisiana Speech-Language Hearing
Association and the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.
